Zelda print

Description

An 8x10" signed print of my original painting "And maybe I'm the stars, and maybe I was Zelda: one pale thing amidst the throttle (meant to be with Aristotle)" (from my solo show The Foxtrot Code). I love white stars on black skies. Zelda Fitzgerald and Daisy Buchanan. A 1920s fascination with constellations. I love black and white photos from the beginning of the 20th century - girls and women in front of stage-set milky ways. I wanted to create my own version. This painting is a tribute to all of these things, great gatsby and flappers, Aristotle and all the other philosophers and their interpretations of night skies.
