Vegan Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Flaps in Olive Mist, Size 7 to 7.75

Here's a wonderful pair of convertible mitts for the person who can't or chooses not to wear animal fibers. I have been researching plant fibers but have found they are all for warmer weather items. Therefore, at this time the warmest choice of non-animal fiber is synthetic. I used this yarn for a pair of mitts for my daughter who has sensory issues and she loved how soft they were. She even said her mitts were, "Surprisingly warm".

These Vegan friendly mitts are in a color called "Olive Mist Heather". It's a dusty olive green with a kissed with silvery gray.

These are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.

I've tweaked my design again and have made the cuffs a bit longer and extended the fingers to the first knuckle.

This pair does not have thumb flaps. The thumbs do not open.

This pair measures about 7 5/8"(19.4cm) in circumference and 8"(20.3cm) from wrist to tip of mitt without any stretching. After compensating for the density of the yarn these mitts will fit a hand about 7" to 7.75"(17.8-19.7cm) wide and up to 8"(20.3cm) in length. The cuffs are about o 3.5"(8.9cm)long.

To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number or check the measurements I've listed. There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves.

Made of an easy care acrylic yarn they are machine wash and dryable. I have prewashed them so there'll be no surprise shrinkage.
