Untitled Landscape, Original Etching/Monoprint

Description

A wee gem at 2x2" square... this small desert landscape was made during a summer printing expedition to New Mexico. The zinc plate had a drypoint image of a field of grass before adding the monoprint colors over the top.

It is inked like an etched plate then painted over with printing inks and lastly a brayer was rolled over the top with the final color.

A series of these landscapes were created from the original field drypoint.

Original hand pulled prints by Nicole Strasburg. Printed on Fabriano white paper. Ink is Graphic Chemical.

Finished size is 8 x 10" ready to pop into a frame
Being a monoprint there is only one of it's kind.
