Conch shells are an emblem of power and holiness, believed to be carried by heroes throughout history.This trumpet shell, surrounded by pure silver, has inlaid turquoise and coral slices on one side, enhanced by silver swirls. It's double-sided, so no worries about which way it falls beneath your neck. The other side is simply a beautiful shell with inlaid turquoise and coral beads into a silver embossed wrapping. The clasp is sterling with a small shell and turquoise bead hanging from a chain. It comes off of the leather with ease in case you'd like to dangle it from a chain. Stunning I'd say. Another Dorje focal piece.
The shell with bail is 2 and 7/8".
