Backpack Baby

This little doll will be a hit with your little girl!
The dolly measures 11 inches tall. She is dressed in scalloped edge dress, matching ruffle butt diaper, mary jane shoes, and a matching bonnet. She also has her favorite blanket and teddy to snuggle up with.
The bottle measures 3 inches tall. The bear measures 4 ½ inches tall.
Carry dolly and all her accessories about in her backpack! She even has a seat that she sits in outside the backpack.

Supplies needed:
G Hook
7 oz ww yarn for backpack main color
Small amounts of worsted weight yarn for doll, doll clothing, blanket, and backpack flap
Small amount of baby sport yarn for teddy bear, and bottle.
Buttons with shanks for doll eyes, (optional, use French knots)
Snap or closure for dress back.
1/8th or 1/4th inch ribbon for bonnet ties.
Scrap red or pink floss for mouth

Small button eyes for bear (optional)
Ribbon roses or other decorations for dress and bonnet embellishments (optional)
Buttons, flowers, etc. for decorating backpack flap. (optional)
½-¾ inch button for backpack flap





Terms used,
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Trpc = triple crochet
Sc-dec = single crochet decrease over 2 stitches
Dc-dec = double crochet decrease over 2 stitches
BLO = back loops only (for just that row)
FLO = front loops only (for just that row)
Slp st = slip stitch
FO = finish off. Cut yarn and pull through last stitch made.
YO = yarn over
