The wood used in this piece is made from a recycled Bordeaux wine box. I sketched the Cherry Blossoms while they were blooming in my garden this Spring. I then burned the pattern into the wood, stained it using a water color technique and then tinted the flowers using oil paint. It is finished with a protective coating of satin lacquer.

This piece is multifunctional. I have both magnetic stripping and wire on the back so you can stick it on your fridge or hang it on the wall. Each piece is original. It is titled, signed, and dated on the back.
