The LLUVIA FRESCA Necklace

Such a pretty and fun piece! Gorgeous borosilicate glass lampwork bead was created by my husband (Aaron Holm) in the most stunning shades of blue and green with tons of silvering. The bead is an organic barrel shape which lends itself beautifuly to this unique design.

The glass bead has been wrapped with solid sterling silver and then coiled with very fine gauge sterling silver wire at the top and bottom. Dropping below is a stunnning large polished labradorite briolette, a large polished green amethyst briolette and a faceted fancy green amethyst briolette all hand coiled in solid sterling silver. The silver at the very top and bottom of the bead have been oxidized for a very rich pantina, while the gems and chain at the very bottom and top have been left in shiny sterling silver for a lovely contrast.

Necklace hangs about 20 inches but can be adjusted upon request. Please add a note in the comments section when checking out to indicate desired length. The center focal drops down another 3 inches from the center and necklace closes with a simple sterling silver lobster clasp. Really a lovely piece!

As with all of our pieces this is one of a kind and will not be duplicated. All glass has been annealed in a kiln for longevity and durability. Thanks for stopping by!
