Gingham Flower Barrettes

I never used to wear barrettes, but once I cut my hair short, I went nuts. But I had a hard time finding barrettes I liked at a price that seemed reasonable. If I did find a cute one in a store, they always seemed kinda... crappy? in terms of construction. And most were just missing something. Pizazz, if you will. So I just decided to make my own. It started off with one little pair of purple gingham bows. I got so many compliments on them and questions about them that I decided to start making more, for myself and for friends.

These little cuties are lavender gingham flowers. The flowers are about an inch across (25mm) and the snap clips are 1.5" (4cm). I really like snap clips because I have very fine hair and they hold exceptionally well.
