Under the Apple Trees - Handknit Mittens (Adult Size)

Wow! Did I ever have fun creating these mittens! I will miss them but I know whomever buys them, will love them. I sure hope so. They are definitely one-of-a-kind. Are the alike? Of course not, they are apple trees.

These mittens are made of brown and white yarn for the trunks. The tree itself is green with pony beads knitted into the yarn. From the inside you don't feel the beads. I love color! I love to take my old tried and true, tweaked mitten pattern that I devised a long time ago, go into my yarn supply, and explore, and just enjoy the journey. So much fun!

I use a small set of needles so that the knit is tighter and won't allow cold air in and the warmth out. Keeps hands dryer.

These mittens are handknit of acrylic yarn. I machine washed and dried them after I made them on a delicate cycle and they came out just as you see them. They are very soft, easy to care for.

They are really warm. The size is a Medium which will fit a woman or teenager. They fit me just fine, and are really comfortable.
