Original hamsa art on both ends of a super-long scarf gives an exotic flair in muted matte metallic, just perfect for dressing up or down.Made of silky 100% pima cotton (not jersey; this is softer!), these scarves reach a fashionably long 88” x 16” and are deliciously soft to the touch. (I've even been asked at times if they are silk.)

About the art:
My artwork on these scarves blends tradition with contemporary floral patterns, and is purposely universal. Although I call it a hamsa, it could also be seen as a mehndi -style hennaed hand. The hamsa, or hand, motif is a protective symbol throughout the Middle East, embraced by Jews and Arabs alike. Throughout that part of the world, as well as India and other regions, brides henna their hands before their weddings, often in beautiful, intricate patterns.
However you see the pattern, my hope is that my scarf will grace the wearer with its unique expression of ancient tradition with a modern fashionable twist.
