Essential Elements WATER necklace

Description

I designed and made this necklace as part of a series that I'm working on, inspired by Earth's elements:

Water

The focal bead in this beautiful necklace is a fused glass pendant of a fish that I created. The fish is raised 3-dimensionally from his shimmery, irridescent water colored background, and highlighted with real 22kt gold hand-applied to the surface. Real bubbles are captured within the background that the fish appears to be swimming in, giving the backdrop glass a slightly convex shape on the surface.

The multiple layers and sizes of chain are all gold-plated, accented with dichroic glass, natural stones, crystal, and Czech glass aquamarine. A simple gold-plated toggle clasp closes the necklace.
