Green tree frogs - cute hand dyed slippers from SunShadow Slippers.

Description

The pure cotton is hand dyed with sun reactive dyes,and left to bake on our sunny veranda. Each pair of slippers will have a motif from nature added - Here are our green tree frogs, so popular around our way.

As the weather begins to warm and the rains begin to come the frogs get louder and we often find them stuck onto our windows :-))

After dyeing the material is hand cut and then sewn with a liner onto a soft suede sole.
Tucked inside for extra warmth and cosiness is an insole made of pure wool felt. This can either be glued into place or left loose. ( the benefit of this is that they can be easily thrown in the washing machine if the inserts are removed - no more smelly slippers !!)
