Elephant Stone Pendant Necklace Blue Sodalite on a Sterling Silver Chain

Description

Pretty light blue Sodalite ("denim lapis" ) carved stone Elephant features hues of blue with white and gray mottling and a splash of reddish brown on the trunk. Nice marbling on this. I added Sterling Silver beads and a sparkling bicone of Swarovski Crystal to create a break from the stone to the sterling silver cable chain (but the focus is ALL Elephant). The trunk is raised in a gentle wave, and there is high attention to detail on this cut. The crystal bead catches the light to further draw notice to this spectacular animal necklace. The pendant attaches to the chain with a split ring (so you can change to a different chain or a cord after you buy it with ease). This pachyderm is rather large - - the pendant measures 1 1/4 inches (3.3 cm) from the split ring, and it is almost 1 1/2 inches (3.7 cm) wide. Beautiful specimin of a beautiful stone.
