I have gone into my archives and unearthed a stash of vintage Green Tiger Press ephemera that I will be listing in my Etsy shop.

Here we have a classic illustration by Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) from the book "Little Brother and Little Sister" (1917). It is captioned "She wore the star-dress which sparkled at every step".

This full-color image has been printed and tipped (glued) onto high-quality laid paper stock. The interior of the card is blank. The back of the card contains descriptive text giving details about the illustration in the lower left-hand corner. A matching envelope is included.

This image was exactingly reproduced by the legendary Green Tiger Press in La Jolla, San Diego County, California, in-house on a four-color Heidelberg printing press in the early 1980's: this is an authentic vintage notecard displaying all the attention to detail for which the Green Tiger Press was justifiably famous.

I worked for the Green Tiger Press for a short time when I first moved to California and was an avid collector of their images from children's books. When the business was sold in the mid-1980's, I went to their closing sale and stocked up on books, notecards, bookplates, and postcards.

Shipping will be by First Class U.S. mail; upgrades to Priority Mail and insurance can be arranged. I am happy to combine shipping charges on multiple purchases on any items in my shop. Items shipped to California will be charged state sales tax of 8.75% at check-out.
