Round Copper Penannular Ring
Description
This is a hand-forged copper penannular ring of the type used in medieval Europe and the renaissance period. Each ring is hand-forged from heavy copper wire, as is the pin. The pin has been given an antique patina to bring out the hammered texture. They are well-hardened so that the pin will hold even heavy wool cloaks with no difficulty.Each ring is about 2" in diameter, and is hammered on the entire surface to give it a deep texture. These are a simple, yet beautiful way to secure scarves, shawls, and wraps in addition to cloaks.
If you would like a blunt end on the pin instead of a sharp end, please let me know in the "notes to seller" when you purchase, and I will be glad to oblige.
