Jumping Jasper, a Grasshopper Pull Toy in Maple and Walnut

Jumping Jasper is made with love by us in our home workshop in Southern Ontario.

He is a hardwood pull toy in the shape of an adorable grasshopper. When a child pulls him along by the strong nylon cord, it looks like he's jumping along right behind!

Jumping Jasper's body is made of maple. His legs are walnut, his eyes and wheels are walnut. The nubbies on the end of his antennae are maple balls that have been very securely fastened in place. The antennae themselves are made from strong plastic covered wire.

We've finished this toy with certified organic Flax seed oil to bring out the colours of the woods and to help seal against moisture. We never use paints, stains, or dyes on our toys.

The grasshopper's body is approximately 23 centimeters (9 inches) in length.

We apologize for the high shipping for this item, but Jasper's solid maple body is heavy and the toy weighs in at just over 500g.
