ENCHANTED CASTLE YARN pink and blue handpainted TIE DYE cotton worsted 100 yds

Would you like to knit with cotton tie-dyed yarn that looks like something from a fairy tale castle? :)

This is the same yarn I sent out in the September Phat Fiber sample boxes--but those were only 15 yards and these skeins are each about 100 yards (a bit over 2.5 oz/75 grams of worsted weight, hand-painted with procion dye). The base yarn is white Peaches & Creme, but I hand-dyed these with blue, purple & fuchsia dyes and then washed and rinsed them with synthrapol to cut down on bleeding.

After knitting or crocheting your project, you should wash the item the first time in fairly hot, soapy water to remove any remaining loose dye.

I have 4 skeins of this and each skein is about the same size as one of the small balls of kitchen cotton. You could knit funky kitchen towels or washcloths or a little purse?

Don't forget to look at my other items--sheepy bags and alpaca t-shirts, handspun wool yarn, etc. :)
