35 Fair Trade Felted Wool Beads, Royal Blue, Red, Orange, Pink, Green
Description
This listing consists of 35 felted wool beads; 15 are solid royal blue and 20 are bright colors with blue swirls. You will receive the exact beads shown in the photo.These fair-trade beads are made by a women's collective in Nepal with whom I work closely; your purchase helps these women escape poverty and send their children to school. Each bead is hand-rolled using wool, water, and a bit of soap. Because they are handmade, the beads vary slightly in size and shape. On average, these beads are 7/8" in diameter - some are a bit bigger, some a bit smaller.
I also have felted wool beads in a smaller size (about 1/2" in diameter) - see my other listings.
These beads do not have a pre-drilled hole, but you can easily string them with a needle and thread. If you're using a heavy cord, you may want to first use an auger to punch a hole through each bead.
