Small Rose Hat

Description

This lovely little hat sits across the top of your head. It has a buckram base that pink rose petals have been placed on. Then a fine black net has been gathered across them so that the petals are sandwiched between the hat base and the net. A pink rose sit at the side with pink velvet bow underneath and two leaves. The stem of the rose is stitched across the top of the hat. For the lining of the hat a pink lace had been chosen. The designer for this hat is Helen Richards. The label is still intact.

This charming hat is in good condition. The black net is not in the greatest of shape. It looks like to me that this hat was stored with a straw hat . The straw hat may have pulled at the net. The net has lots of small holes. But the rest of the hat is in good shape. No discoloration. The flower and leaves are still there and looking good.
