Needle Felted Wool Mushroom Sculpture-Brown

Description

These mushrooms are hand needle felted from unspun wool. They are brown in color.
There are several shades of hand blended brown wool in the mushrooms. They are firmly felted to a base felted of mixed shades of green. There are also tufts of "grass" around of the base of the mushrooms on all sides. The tufts are made from the wool tips of shorn fleece, that I have hand dyed in different shades of green. I use no patterns in my pieces and there is no wire armiture, so these are not poseable. These are solid wool all the way through with no filler.

The mushrooms and base are approx. 3.5 inches (9cm) high and the base is approx. 3 inches (7.5cm) in diameter. It is artist initialed on the bottom of the base by me, MC.
