Beautiful Sterling Silver And Copper, Oak Leaf And Acorn Necklace

Ohhhh I love this new necklace! This necklace is new to my collection and was inspired by the oak trees on my property. I am lucky enough to have a very old oak tree right in front of a window that I get to look at through the seasons. Right now my oaks are loosing thier acorns. The squirrels are running around gathering them to store for winter. My son saw a grey squirrel stuffing his cheeks to the max just yesterday.

If you have been in my store before you will find that nature and what surrounds me inspires alot of my jewelry designs. This is one of those pieces.

This beautiful necklace started on my sketch pad. This is a hand drawn leaf, not traced, that I then cut it out of beautiful copper. I had a little jasper bead that looked reminiscent of a acorn so I created a little acorn pendant to hang from the leaf.

This pendant hangs on a sterling silver 19" chain, but can be adjusted slightly smaller , just clasp into one of the chain links. The oak leaf pendant is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide. A very elegant length.

This is in my signature line and is stamped with my initials too!
