Washable Cotton Squares

These 7 double layer knit squares are upcycled from some baby body suits. I really decided it was too much of a hassle to snap body suits on my son once he started crawling/walking and so I chopped off all of his body suits. I didn't want to just throw away the cloth that was left over, but it took me a few months to realize that I could cut them into 2" x 2" squares and serge them to make my own washable 'cotton squares' instead of buying disposable cotton squares at the store to use when removing my eye make up.

Just wash cold or hot with regular detergent in your washing machine. I save up about 6 days worth and then put them in my mesh lingerie bag and wash them with my regular clothes and they come out clean (although they may slightly stain depending on your eye makeup and mascara).
