Cherries. embroidered patchwork pillow

I love collecting hand-embroidered pieces of fabric from the vintage markets. I've got quite a stack, and finally figured out what to do with it!

This new line of embroidered patchwork pillows feature vintage hand-embroidery -- a piece taken from a handkerchief, a tea-towel, or a curtain maybe. Each one promises to be one-of-a-kind. The fabrics I use for patchworking are mostly vintage cotton and linen, although a few modern swatches may find their way in there too.

Hand-embroidered cherries taken from a table runner I found two summers ago in the vintage market of Aigues Mortes in the south of France is the main piece on this little pillow. The backing is linen.

Measures 10x12 inches or 25x31 cm. Spot-cleaning recommended.
