PinCushion Silk Ribbon Embroidery

Description

Hand embroidered silk ribbon roses onto rose silk dupioni using 4mm silk ribbons. Silk flowers are made with the Fargo stitch for the roses, and the Plume stitch with lavender silk ribbons. I used Perle cotton to make lazy daisy stitched leaves. Pearl glass beads are scattered and borders the silk embroidery work.
The pin cushion surrounds another handmade cotton casing that is stuffed with sawdust to help keep your needles sharp and rust free. Elegantly sitting on top of a brass candlestick, glued in place and is included in this sale.

Beautiful and elegant, a plus for any sewing room.
Makes a great gift for the sewer in yout life.
A recycled candlestick is used as the pedastal.

I have been designing and creating these pincushions for 7 years now but I have never thought to sell them on Etsy until.
