Firebird. Merino/Cashmere/Nylon Sock Yarn.

Description

Sock yarn = 100grams/400 meters (437 yards).

Colourway = Firebird.

This is a beautiful one of a kind hand painted hank of 4ply/sock yarn. It is made up of 80% Superwash merino wool 10% cashmere and 10% nylon for a luxurious feel. It is squishy and just lovely.

This is the first line in Spindlefrog Sock with a wider range to come in the next few weeks. The yarns are dyed using the same techniques as the Spindlefrog fibre with short fun and random colour repeats that will hopefully avoid pooling.

Care instructions = Although the yarn is superwash it is recommended that the item is hand washed and laid flat to dry to prolong the life of your socks.

Please be aware that although I have made every effort to capture the colours accurately that monitors can show the colour differently.

The fibre is painted in a dog friendly house and stored with lavender to keep away the pests. The dogs are not immune to lavender though but are still kept away from the fibre
