ABSTRACT - Copper and Amethyst Gemstone Brooch

This was a fun brooch/pin to make. I didn't have a pattern in mind, so I just twisted and turned and this is what I ended up with. Isn't it just beautiful?This handmade brooch consists of copper wire and Amethyst gemstones, two nuggets and faceted Amethyst. I love the way Amethyst and copper go so well together. It's like they've been made for each other. The brooch has been oxidized and tumbled for durability, shine and strength. The brooch is 3 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide.
