Sweet Heart Merino Felt Purse

Description

Here’s a soft merino wool felt purse that’s great for carrying small treasures.

When closed, it measures 3 ¼” x 6 ½”. The felt has a naturally uneven edge which I’ve left as is.

I made the felt using the seemingly magical wet felting method, which involves hours of strenuous, yet rewarding, work. I then hand stitched the purse with wool yarn and added the button.

As always, the colours on your monitor may differ from the actual wool a bit. So, here’s a list of the colours: White, blue, yellow, orange, deep pink, turquoise and red-brown felt with variegated yarn of navy blue, turquoise, lavender, olive green and a creamy yellow button.
