Large Green Mushroom Salt and Pepper - Mid Century - Japan
Description
These large green Mid-Century mushrooms are actually oversize salt and pepper shakers. One has three holes in the top and one has five. However they could also stand alone as mushroom figurines.They are made of ceramic, with a thick patchy green glaze, and additional decoration on the stem, including a ladybird and leaves.
Both have plastic stoppers underneath and are printed with "Japan".
Dimensions: Each measures 5.5" tall and approximately 4.5" in diameter.
Condition: These mushrooms are in very good condition. There were yellow spots in paint over the glaze which are a little worn off, and also a little crazing, which is to be expected with age and a heavy glaze. The bodies have no damage at all and the glaze is shiny.
