Rustic Cabin in the Woods Brooch with Layered Textiles

Description

When you really want to get away but are stuck in the city, just stick this rustic cabin-in-the-woods brooch on your t-shirt and pretend you're having a carefree time out in the woods!

The base of this layered textile brooch is an oval doubled ruffle made of faux bois cotton fabric. Topping that base is a piece of frayed vintage denim. On top of the denim is a fabric print of a rustic log cabin out in the woods. Sewn next to the cabin is a green pine tree button.

The back is dark green eco-felt, and a locking pinback is securely sewn on the pin. The oval is 3-3/4" by 3-1/4" and the brooch pieces are machine and hand sewn.

This brooch is from my pet-free and smoke-free home and has not been worn.
