How To Make a Vintage Sheet Cushion - Pattern
Description
My vintage sheet quilt tutorial (free at http://pinsandthimbles.wordpress.com) is the most popular tute for vintage sheets on the web. It was featured recently on tipnut.com.These matching cushions have been featured on the front page of Etsy and are a best seller through stores in my home town. An easy project, they take only an hour or two each and are totally addictive! They have also been featured on the design blog 'Modish' (http://www.modishblog.com/modish/2009/08/ecofriendly-find-pins-thimbles.html).
Now you can make your own! The new and popular interfacing patchwork method I will show you takes a fraction of the time of traditional patchwork and you don't need to know how to do patchwork, to make these cushions.
My simply explained pattern has large colour photos to guide you through each step. Instructions are given for two patch sizes, 6" and 3", and all measurements are given in both metric and imperial. Moreover, if you get into trouble, you only need ask for help -- I am always available to answer your questions.
The pattern is a PDF file which will be emailed to you within 24 hours of purchase. It is also available as a full colour, printed pattern (see my shop for that listing).
You will need to be able to make a buttonhole and have access to a sewing machine and an iron.
Items handmade by you from this pattern may be sold on Etsy.
