Pine Cone Tree.

Description

This Christmas Tree was made from an actual pine cone!

I would love to tell you that I gathered pine cones while strolling through the woods on a crisp, fall afternoon. I didn't. They were laying on the ground at my local fabric store. Of course, I thought "Hmmm... what can I do with these?".

The wooden block is 2 inches square. I have covered it with pages from a vintage children's book about Santa. The block has been aged and varnished for protection.

The pine cone has been glittered with diamond dust and has a very nice sparkle to it. It is glued securely to the block. The entire piece is about 5 inches tall.
