Here at The Ebon Swan we are ever on the lookout for unusual and gorgeous cameos to set and offer in our store. I found this design and I had to snap it up!

This is a 40x30mm cameo, mounted into a lightweight silvertone pinback setting, framing this beauty with graceful scrolls. Its theme depicts a lovely young girl, her hair and dress reminiscent of the Classical period, adorned with ribbons and flowers in her hair on on her bodice. Upon her shoulder perches a little bird, wings outstretched as if she is just now landing to pay a visit. Approximate total dimensions are 2 inches by 1.6 inches.

The detail on this cameo is just wonderful. I have taken pictures at different angles in an attempt to show just how sharp and clear the subject is, and how bright the white is, making a gorgeous contrast.

Both durable and lovely, this is ideal for the lady reenactor for the Civil War period, or those who love the dignified beauty of the Victorian period.
