Magpie Treasure Trove Birdsnest Brooch

Description

Woven through and under and over just like a real birds nest. Like a Magpie, I collected the most shiny and beautiful bits of faceted gemstone and pearl and vintage bead and carefully secured them into the nest. I don’t know if it’ll attract a mate, but it will surely attract attention!

Ametrine, White Topaz, Freshwater Pearl, 1940’s Czechoslovakian Crackle Glass bead, and a CZ Emerald tightly packed into a nest of over 6 feet of Argentium Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass, & 14K Gold Fill wire; all woven to a sturdy Stainless Steel pin back. 1 1/2” long, 1” wide, with a 1/2” profile.

The pictures truly do not do this little pin the justice it deserves.
