Christmas Colors Beaded Bouquet

Description

This Beaded Bouquet contains flowers in reds and whites, with green leaves and a little green birdie. The flowers are vintage and contemporary plastic and Lucite with Swarovski crystal centers and the leaves are glass. The stems are made with seed beads and the bird is also made of glass.

The bouquet is in an old white bottle with white raised flowers. It does have some staining (I believe this little bottle was buried in the ground) and a small chip on its foot, but I think that adds to the charm of the piece. The flowers are permanently fixed in the bottle with resin.

The bottle is about 2 3/4 inches tall and the whole bouquet is about 3 3/4 inches tall. It's hard sometimes to imagine the size, even with the dimensions, so I have taken a picture of the bouquet in my hand for reference.

What are Beaded Bouquets? They are small bouquets handcrafted with flower and leaf beads of materials such as Lucite and Czech glass. Think of them as jewelry for your desk! The Beaded Bouquet story began with the first one I made for a friend as a thank-you gift. I had no plans to make any more, but after she displayed it on her desk, I had many requests, and so the Beaded Bouquet was born! The design is my own and is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
