Celadon Stoneware Mug with Black Lining
Description
This mug was thrown and trimmed on the potter's wheel. Once the clay had stiffened up a bit, a handle was pulled and added to the mug. The inside and rim were glazed in a shiny black glaze that breaks to an amber brown on the edges. The outside was glazed in a soft green celadon glaze which compliments the shiny black interior. It was then fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.This item measures 4.5" by 5".
