Calorimetry is a scientific term describing the measurement of heat lost or gained.

The button on this piece is a red plastic coated shell (abalone).

This head wrap is made from 100% wool from Canada. It measures apx. 14.5"x5.25" and I consider this the medium size.
It wraps sround the head and buttons under the hair for a great option to a hat on a blustery day. (love using that word) The wool and the stitch make this a springy, stretchy headwrap. This is wool, warmer of course than man-made fibers, and no, it's not itchy. The biggest draw back to wool is that you must hand wash and lay flat to dry. Throw it in the washer and it will felt down.

For these head wraps I've refigured the stitches to make it in three sizes: small (13.5"x5.25", medium 14.5"x5.5", and large 16.25"X6". The smaller size fits people with less hair the best, and the large fits big-hair gals better.

I've made this numerous times in many yarns! Wool works best but I can make it in acrylic also. If a custom color or yarn suits your needs better please convo me for a custom piece.
