This wall plaque has been formed by attaching a vintage ceiling tin to a handmade wooden frame.

A warm chestnut brown is distressed to show an underlayer of ivory. Texture of the original paint is also evident.

This tin can be displayed on the wall by placing the frame over a single nail. It is even thin enough to be placed on an easel.

This ceiling tin was recovered from a vintage building and purchased in Maxwell, Texas. 2 coats of sealer help protect the current finish. The tin is attached to the handmade wooden frame with small nails.

Because this tin has been cut from vintage ceiling tin, it will have distinctive characteristics - these may include slight dents and bends and rust. Please note that this is vintage paint and as such may contain lead. It is possible for additional chippiness to occur.
