"Deep Sea Drama" is an 8x10 inch original acrylic painting on flat canvas board with a playful sci fi kitsch pulp art theme. A hero in an antique diving bell valiantly uses a golden trident to battle a deep red octopus wielding a bright orange raygun in one of its many tentacles. In the background, an underwater volcano begins to erupt! A sea turtle swims through the scene oblivious to all the drama.

Imagine your own sci fi pulp novel to go with the painting if you like -- inspired by the mid-20th century adventure novels with tales of daring in outer space or in underwater kingdoms; the tales could rarely live up to the cover art!
