Well here is the ideal gift for the hand spinner in your family. It has three of the tools used by hand spinners.

First: The wraps per inch gauge. Used to measure the "weight" of hand spun yarns. Comes with a handy WPI chart to help easily determine the style of your yarn.

Second: The plying template. Used to keep singles separated until they are ready to be plied. Can be used to for up to a four ply yarn. For use with spinning wheels or a drop spindle.

Finally: The Diz. Used to blend fibers as they come off a carder or combs.

This three piece set happens to be made from beautiful Cherry and has a hand rubbed linseed oil finish.

It also comes with the handy little cloth gift bag as seen in the photos.
