satellite dish earrings - oxidized copper domed discs

Description

I love the pretty green patina that is formed on old copper, so I experimented with a solution made in my kitchen...

These copper discs have been domed and hammered to create a subtle sparkly texture. I filed slight facets on the perimeter edge. They were then sprayed with a safe solution over a couple of weeks.

These earrings are bold and organic, and limited edition.
Please note that due to the oxidation process, each pair will oxidize slightly different, so results will vary. The last photo shows more patina than the first photos. I can try and achieve the look you want, so if you prefer more or less patina, please specify this at the notes to seller box during checkout.

They measure about 1.75" in diameter.

The ear wires are not made of copper--they are oxidized sterling silver, so they won't turn your skin green.
