Say it in Japanese
Description
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my shop. These vintage hanko stamps are so cool! These were and are still used in Japan to stamp a person's kanji on documents as a sort of signature. I just love the bold look of the Japanese Kanji symbols. And the material (bakelite? hard plastic? bone?) they're made of is so sleek, smooth and of such a beautiful white.
Each measures approximately 2 3/8" (6 cms)long. The diameter of the stamped image is about 3/8" (1 cm) wide. **This listing is for a set of 3**
These hanko are great for your stamping needs. They would also make really great wax seals I think (although I haven't tested them). You can use them to stamp polymer clay to make jewelry, stamp gift tags to add a little something special to any gift, or just sign your paintings with them! Or use them in your next mixed media, steampunk, collage, assemblage, altered art or scrapbooking projects! You'll find a multitude of things can be done with these cool rusty pieces!
I ♥ our planet. In an effort to do all I can to keep our planet clean, I use recycled materials in my art and in my shipping. Oh, and I am convo friendly. Send me one with any questions.
