Instead of giving her a name, I decided to call this fun little piece "Happy Girl" because she looks happy and I feel happy when I look at her. With her arms spread wide, she looks ready to embrace the world. I LOVE this painting!

This is an original painting done on a thick wood block. There are many elements at play here. The soft blue background has scribbles and distress marks on it as well as subtle white circles. The text above her head reads "She felt a great hope, a great love." So fitting, don't you think? Next to the text I have a attached a little snap for interest.

All and all, this is a whimsical, fun painting that would be perfect for a child or an adult.

There is no need to frame as the sides are painted. This painting can stand on it's own or can hang on the wall from a claw hook on the back.
