I love two things right now....

The glory of Autumn because the morning light of the fields is awash with a golden glow that whispers in tones of pinks and purples, and the sky is darkened by the graceful flight of red hawks preparing for a time less bountiful. Because the smell of the sea air is so crisp and clean it seems to cleanse one from the inside out.

I am also intrigued and preoccupied with the mystery of opposing opposites. With things that seem on the surface to be significantly different and yet complement each other in a truly harmonious way. In a way that one could not have predicted.
When... east meets west and becomes the center,
when experience meets understanding and becomes wisdom.
when vulnerability meets strength and becomes balance.
when mixed metals converge and become melodic.

This Mixed Metal Melody Necklace is composed of free form, organically shaped sterling silver. One oxidized to a rustic finish the other dressed in 18kt gold. Touched by the flighty grace of a AA quality amethyst solitaire wrapped in silver and perched atop the complimentary combination like a pinnacle of light. All hanging from a vintage inspired brass chain that has been touched with the additional embellishment of amethyst and finished with a brass lobster clasp.

- Necklace Length is 18" (can also be worn at shorter lengths).
- The mixed metals pendant
measures 1 1/2" in length and 7/8" in width.
