I’ve selected a few yunomi and chawans from this summers kiln loads of FetishGhost’s BoneOrchard TeaWare to share on Etsy.

Each of the pieces from this year’s 2009 collection are truly amazing works of heart. . Each has been thrown and shaped to fit a different hand and each has been individually used as a canvas for a unique composition using multiple hand cut paper stencils, delicately sponged slips, and richly jeweled and textured glazes.

This is art that has been created to fit comfortably into our personal spaces. Its art for the hand, it needs to be held to be fully appreciated.

Much like their owners… No two yunomi or chawans are alike… each has its own look, feel, and character.

These yunomi are the culinary work horses for my family. They hold our morning coffees, afternoon teas, and provide a healthy measure of our favorite evening meals.

This piece is lead free, food safe, and dishwasher safe, (but I do recommend hand washing to greatly extend the longevity of your cup).
