Robin's Egg Blue sea glass pottery and sterling silver necklace

Description

An unusual drop of sea pottery, coloured in varigated blues, just the way we found it on a Nova Scotia beach this past summer. The sea pottery measures 3/4" (2.0 cm) in length and hangs on a sterling silver bail. The pendant is on an 18" sterling silver box chain (16 or 20" chain may be substituted by request). Wear your own little piece of history.

Sea glass, also known as beach glass or mermaid's tears, is nature's answer to bottles, china and pottery carelessly thrown into the sea many years ago. The glass is tumbled on the ocean floor, smoothed by the waves and sand until it washes up on shore, waiting to be found by a lucky passerby.
