Sock Monkey on Vanilla and Periwinkle. A fused glass pendant necklace. 139.

Description

This pendant is made with layers of antique vanilla and dark lavender glass. The two colors interact when heated, creating a white framing effect. The sepia-toned image is a type of photo-transfer using an original photograph of my vintage sock monkey doll. It is permanently fused to the glass.

The glass is fired in a high-temperature kiln at least 3 times to complete this pendant. I've drilled a hole in the glass (and re-fired it) for a secure attachment to the neck cable.

It measures 3/4" by almost 1" and comes on a 16" medium brown cotton jewelry cord necklace.

I'm happy to substitute any length of:

- dark brown cotton neck cord
- light cream cotton neck cord
- nylon-covered stainless steel neck cable
- delicate snake-like gunmetal chain
- steel color ball chain
or
- dark brown ultra-suede.

You can also upgrade to a sterling snake chain or think ball chain which is also available in my shop.
