Country Western Tweethearts-Wedding Cake Topper - Custom Order for 2010

Sweet needle felted country birdies stand between 3 and 4 inches(w/hat) tall and can be made in just about any color you wish with wire legs to coordinate. The birdies may be accessorized to match the style of your wedding. This set was ordered in Turquoise wool with chocolate legs & beaks. The bride birds veil is antique cotton lace. Her bouquet is accented with a few feather wisps. The groom is sporting a black flocked cowboy hat. The little cowboy hats can be ordered in black, brown or white.

I love to use vintage millinery, seam binding and lace to accessorize the birdies which lends a romantic feel to them. They stand on their own and their little heads may be turned from side to side for posing. Wings can be ordered up (celebrate/take flight)or down (holding hands).
If stored properly these will make a wonderful keepsake and can be used again by the next generation. Birdies will arrive boxed with archival acid free buffered tissue for storage after the wedding and directions for keeping them clean. I hope you will find many creative ways to use your birdies(too cute to sit in a box). The little wire feet may be wrapped around a small branch on the Christmas tree or you can use a needle and thread to make a hanger for them. Perch them in baby's nursery, under a glass dome with moss, or bring them out to celebrate anniversary milestones.
