Iron Grate Mixed Media Assemblage - Man Woman - MOLLY O - Shabby

I found this old iron great at a tag sale recently . I knew I could do something with it but was not sure what ! I came up with this idea and I really like it .
Behind the iron piece I layered an antique letter with a page from a Victorian magazine and I hand colored the illustration . I embellished with a antique metal cherub frame , old lace , an old card of Paris buttons , sheet music , mother of pearl buttons , a glass prism , skeleton key , roses I made from vintage ribbon and part of a glass beaded old necklace . It hangs from a rusty wire hanger . The piece is 8 " wide , and 11" to top of hanger . Finished on back with plain paper . Signed and dated .
