Description

I always envy the organisms that can fly and get a closer look at things in the sky. I'd like to be a butterfly and perhaps get a little closer look at the sun and stars.

This piece took an exceptionally long time to create due to the many layers of stamps that have to be individually laid down and dried. I love the multitude of stamps that come from such diverse places as India, Japan and England.

Mixed media artwork on stretched gallery canvas, 12 x 12 x 1 1/2 inches. Signed and dated.

It is not necessary to frame this piece unless you wish to do so. Sides are staple-free and artwork wraps around all sides. Wired and ready to hang. Satin finish with UV protection.
