Statue of Liberty and New York Skyline. Vintage Watch Crystal and Postage Stamp Earrings

I love how very enormous that airplane looks flying so close to Liberty’s head in this one-and how the green of the stamp looks a lot like the color of the statue these days. I am not sure what year this stamp was printed, but at the low price of .15 cents it must be pretty old. Do you recognize any of the buildings in the skyline back there?


Earrings are around 2" or more long, and are made with canceled stamps-you'll never see anyone on the street with a pair like yours, as they all come from the attention-deficit mind of me. Just making two that match is all that I can accomplish, and SO, you are guaranteed a one of a kind pair! (They don't even match each other, sometimes!)

They are finished on the back with vintage dictionary definitions-a by-product of my canister making.
